According to reports Arsenal FC have entered the chase for Celtic FC left-back Emilio Izaguirre.

The Daily Mail claims the Honduras international – who is believed to be a target of Manchester United – was watched by Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish during the Hoops’ 3-0 win over Rangers on Sunday.

However, it is understood that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also sent a scout along to watch the player.

Izaguirre has attracted plenty of attention with Aston Villa also said to be interested.

Celtic have slapped a £10 million price-tag on their star full-back.
